David Suchet as Hercule Poirot

Instead of writing posts for my side-blog I should rather go to bed, but you know how those things work and so I’m going to tell you that I’m obsessed with “the little man with the egg-shaped head”. And I’m talking about the Agatha Christie novels here and not so much about the films even though they are very good especially with David Suchet in the lead.

I think it is Hercule Poirot’s charming but conceited character paired with his enormous intellect and his ever so clever work of his little grey cells that keeps you reading and reading. It’s funny that Christi hadn’t intended to write so much Hercule Poirot novels, because she did not like the Belgian detective with his contrary manners. But in the end she did it for the crowds, so to say, because Poirot won over the hearts of the readers. And so the story, or better legacy, begun and Christie wrote one the best, if not the best, character of the straight forward detective fiction and still the magic of her writing style and the adorable Hercule Poirot enchant the readership – at least in me she found a late but totally fascinated reader and I would wish that there was an infinite number of novels. Hmm…but, one should be thankful for what one blabla… this being said I retire for today and go to bed read the rest of “The Mystery Of The Blue Train”. May Hercule Poirot strike again upon those who try to deceive him, hahaha…

p.s. read the book, the film is not half as good…

Yeah, this is true and I’m not ashamed of it because Goa really is good trance music, not the stupid nonsense shit you can watch on your tv…ok, I was not so much into it as I’m now into folk music, but I had a good time listening to some stomping beats, some nice twisted synth melodies and stuff. Let me tell you the long story behind the name Blood Red Dynasty (scarry, isn’t it??):

Once upon a time…no…to be honest, there is no story behind the blog name. I just sat here and considered what really cool name my really cool side blog should get – and then there it was: BLOOD RED DYNASTY. The next thing I remember is taking pictures of an old dirty plate full of hot red sauce, uploading it to photoshop and making some aweful but awesome looking blog header.

I don’t know how often I post here and what it will be. Maybe some music stuff, maybe not. Let’s see. (And remember this is kind of a fun blog…)
